Vision 3 Recall Wizard

The Vision 3 Recall Wizard allows you to produce a report of all Recalls within a time frame that you specify.

The report displays all the communication details for the patients identified and counts each type of recall.

You can then double-click on a count and either call in the patients from the sheet or import them back into Vision 3 to send out letters or text reminders.

Note - Recalls are automatically classed as inactive after three months past in a patient record.
You can always set up the recall search from a given date, ignoring all in the past.

A recall system can be made extremely easy with just a few rules and a recall guideline.

  • A recall should only be added to the patient record if you truly want them to come back.
  • The Admin team then invite the patient based on a future outstanding recall.
  • For internal reminders you can use Daybook or Tasks.
  • When adding another recall check the guideline for all current recalls to see if you can tie them up to an existing one, this minimises appointments for the patient freeing up practice resources.
  • Complete recalls no longer required from the right mouse menu.

With the simple rules above a recall search in Vision 3 can then be performed from month to month for all recalls. You should not need to specify any types of recalls, as all outstanding recalls need to be invited back.

You may not even need to use the Recall Wizard report, but it does provide you with a safety net as it imports all past and future outstanding recalls for monitoring.
